It's that time of year again for the Star Wars cosplay Pokémon to make their appearance. This year, all the previous six years Pokémon will be making their first return, each in various locations in the Vortex world! Available in all six variants; Pikachu (Jedi), Cubone (Vader), Psyduck (Jar Jar), Voltorb (BB-8), Scrafty (Ackbar) and Barbaracle (Grievous) will be spawning at a legendary rarity rate in the following locations: Pikachu (Jedi) Route 10, in the grass, during day and night Route 11, in the grass, during day and night Route 12, in the grass, during day and night Cubone (Vader) Nightshade Crypt, during day and night Route 21, in the grass, during day and night Psyduck (Jar Jar) Route 24, in the water, during day and night Route 25, in the water, during day and night Voltorb (BB-8) Upper Steelmouth Plant, both floors, during day and night Scrafty (Ackbar) Route 9, in the grass, during day and night Route 16, in the grass, during day and night Barbaracle (Grievous) Fungal Cavern, all floors, on land, during day and night These time-limited Pokémon will only be available on May 4th (00:00 - 23:59 BST) so don't miss out on the chance to add them to your Collection. You just need to paste in the image link (has to end in an image extension such as .png, .gif, etc) Imgur is a funny one because they have hosted pages with content for their images so you need to right-click the image and then click "Copy Image Address", you can't just copy the URL of the image as you look at it on Imgur because it's a web page, not an image. First of all, I've already spoken to that individual on Discord months before his rant on the forums, he seems to be very angry that people spend time playing *any* game, not just Vortex. He thinks playing games is a waste of time and I don't like this air of superiority that he thinks he can tell people how to spend their time - It's none of his business how people have fun. Secondly, the game is far from "dead". Over 10,000 people play the game weekly (which that number jumps up when there's an event) and I'm happy with this number, that's all that matters. I wouldn't care if only a single person played it, I didn't and do not continue to make Vortex for the enjoyment of others, I do it for my own enjoyment of computer programming, the fact people play and enjoy it is somewhat a bonus and feeds motivation to make me carry on but not essential to me. How many people play the game should matter to no one but me, and it doesn't matter to me. Back to that person in particular you're talking about, he lost any right to have a direct conversation with me because all he keeps talking about is money, I'm not interested in discussing money with anyone. Again, my wallet is none of his or anyone's business. He was banned on the forums because of his constant negativity, it's not welcome here. He does not have a right to be on the forums, it's a privileged extension of the game and I should not have to come on daily to constant attacks from kids who know nothing about me setting statuses about how they hate me. My message to him in the ban was "If you do not like the game (or me) then simply do not play it". This is my own approach to any game or service, if I do not like it then I won't use it. I don't feel like I have some inherent right to hang around complaining and attacking people about the game/service. I would have replied to his topic he made but like on Discord, he wasn't capable of making it a rational discussion, it was a personal attack. I have nothing to say to him and nothing more to say on this topic. I hope you understood everything I've mentioned, if not you can come and discuss it more with me on Discord.

When it comes to variants, the goal was only ever to have six, which is already a huge time consuming task to complete the Pokédex. If you haven't already noticed the section of the Pokédex that says "Coming Soon" which is the Side Dex, this is to implement one of a kind Pokémon that would otherwise be complete variants such as Crystal Onix or Pink Rhyhorn. This way, we can have these special Pokémon loved by the fanbase without having to turn every single other Pokémon into that variant, achieving two things: The Pokédex remains a manageable size The Side Dex Pokémon are all that more special not having an entire dex done in that style. It's posts like yours which is exactly why I do not make the spawn rates public. I have done in past versions and it has proven to be more of a problem than a solution. Why? Most people simply do not understand it. They will read (example number) 1/1000 to find a legendary and they assume they have to find one in 1000 encounters or less or there is something broken/not working and refuse to believe otherwise, much like your post thinking there's some conspiracy against you. Like the answer or not - It is all luck. If you don't find what you're looking for then you're having bad luck, there is nothing broken and I have better things to do than conspire against players laughing in a dark corner when they don't find what they're looking for.

Christmas, Halloween and Star Wars Pokemon get re-released from time to time. Star Wars Pokemon, for example, are now finished with new additions, there will never be a new Star Wars Pokemon so every May 4th onwards will see the existing one(s) come back in some way. We will never have any Pokémon deadlocked in a way they're literally unobtainable. However, them being very rare and valuable for a period of time is fine, it keeps the trade/auction economy fresh and alive.
