What's to stop this being abused? I could very easily start a new account and borrow a load of money, then trade it to my main account. The old account would be penalised, but I wouldn't ever log into the old account again. How would this punishment be effective?

What is the point of borrowing money if you can't buy anything with it? Surely jamming their trades is counter-productive.

We were discussing what would happen in the instance where you have already loaned the money, yet the borrower was unable to repay it. Tritre suggested using experienced pokemon to repay the debt, but there is an obvious flaw to that - they may not have any experienced pokemon.

You were banned for using a Tampermonkey script to automate gameplay. Your alt account is also banned as you were using this as storage for your illegitimately caught pokemon. I'm honestly still surprised how people can deny using bot scripts that are widely-published and freely available on the internet... like we don't have access to the internet or something? Or do you think you're the first person to discover this bot? We regularly scour the internet looking for bots/scripts. When we find them, we write our own scripts which can very reliably detect them being used. This is not rocket science. Stop cheating and you will stop being banned.

Hi, It is not an error. You were banned for automating gameplay. It appears that you were using some kind of tool to record/replay mouse movements and clicks in a particular sequence. This is against the rules, and so your account has been banned. You're welcome to open a new account.

This is against the rules. You're welcome to start a new account, but please keep in mind that any attempt to automate any aspect of gameplay may result in another ban in future.

Thanks for the valuable feedback. I hear you - the biggest problem (and has always been the problem on Vortex) is that feeling when you accidentally skip past a pokemon that you really wanted. There's a few ideas floating around on how best to deal with this problem. We have to keep in mind that introducing some sort of mechanic to slow down the encounter rate, or halting movement on encounters, can make the game annoying in other ways. Personally, I find that forcing players into an encounter every few paces like the original games is probably one of the worst features of those games. An auto-stop toggle would mitigate this, but you might not always be in the right mode when searching, or you might get tired of the constant stopping and turn it off despite the risk - then back to square 1. I think there may be some better solutions out there. We'll try to find the best compromise.
