  1. I just accidentally stumbled upon a Burn Drive auction that had less than 1 minute remaining. I wasn't even looking for it.
I placed a bit, and the auction immediately ended afterwards.
I guess I have my first two Burn Drives now.

  2. Got sniped by 2 seconds on the first auction I saw.
That was close. I'll have to try again.

  3. Yes, there certainly are ways to do that. Training accounts are a good way to quickly gain EXP. I recommend watching this video, as it details a lot of different ways to earn EXP, and how different kinds of Pokémon earn EXP the quickest.
  4. That is indeed correct. However, in Pokémon Sun/Moon, it is explained it acts like an Ultra Beast. It also appears in the same way. That's why it was decided to have Necrozma appear at Ultra Beast rarity. Due to Vortex's coding, this then also means that Necrozma can only be caught in Beast Balls or Vortex Balls.
  5. I like how they look on the backsprite, but I'm not a fan of the front sprite horns.
  6. I like the little pumpkin in the back. I don't like the red parts though. Are they supposed to be fangs or blood?
  7. 1. By using the !value command in the bot commands channel of the Vortex Discord server, you can see a Pokémon's value. 2. Ads are already enabled on Pokémon Vortex. There are currently no rewards for them. They're just there. 3. The 'you are bidding too fast' option was added to avoid spam bidding to win auctions. It also stops the possibility of someone paying way too much compared to what they want if someone else gives a really high bid before them. 4. I don't know much about this one, unfortunately.
  8. It used to be possible to battle against 3 of the Vortex Admins, who had very powerful teams, all at Level 150. I don't know if, and when, they will make a return.
  9. Trapinch normally evolves into Vibrava, and after that into Flygon. Did you remember that incorrectly, or do you mean there's a different problem?
  10. Yay for statistics! I love statistics.
  11. I'm fine with some Pokémon being rarer. Legendaries being very rare makes sense. Ultra Beasts being extremely rare also makes sense. Almost everything works similar to the games.
  12. I'm not bored of this game at all. I really like the collection aspect of the game. With every Pokémon having 6 possible variations you can catch them in, and then every form(e) of a Pokémon counting as a different species as well, there are a LOT of Pokémon to obtain. It's been my goal for a very long time to complete my PokéDex, and I'm getting closer every day.
  13. The starter Pokémon are rare. This is done on purpose. Starter Pokémon can not be caught in the wild in the normal game. Because of that, Pokémon Vortex makes them rare.
  14. Melmetal is an evolution of Meltan, so evolving Meltan is likely the only way to obtain it. All others likely to be event exclusive Pokémon.

    Ping

A 'ping' is when someone uses the @ symbol with a word, role or your name in a way that gives you a notification or a number next to the channel, to let you know someone likely wants something from you, or wants to notify you of something.
  16. Especially when quickly clicking through battles, I usually only notice after a few turns why I wasn't dealing damage (I was confused).
  17. I've never seen that happen. There is a 'here' ping 30 seconds before the Quiz starts. This happens in the quiz channel. Any other pings may be from other players who want to remind you to join, although I'm unsure why that'd happen as you should already have obtained a ping just before that.
  18. Going into a different tab does not log you out, so that should be fine. For example, if you do 30 battles, then go into a different tab to check Facebook messages, to then return to play Vortex, you should still be at 30 battles. Do note you need to return pretty quickly, as you will be automatically logged out after a few minutes of inactivity.
  19. It deletes it for everyone.
  20. I don't recall where it was said, but I'm almost certain there's a fixed number of battles to get a Fist Plate, in case you werent lucky enough to get one before that. However, that only applies when you don't log out in between any of those battles.
  21. Yes, that is possible. Any trainer battle counts, even against other players' teams. If you win enough clan battles without logging off in between, you will be certain to get a Fist Plate at some point. The exact number of battles after which this happens has not been announced.
  22. It means you're playing on an IP where multiple people play. A school or library is place this can happen at. To get the daily log-in reward for yourself, you'll have to be the first of everyone on the IP to log in.
