  1. This is a known issue in legacy maps and will not be fixed. Legacy maps will be removed entirely in a future update.
  2. You were using a tool to automate battling. This is against the rules.
  3. Please provide more information. In what way did the map stop?
  4. Re-read what I said. Your argument is that sharing a public computer is not a problem because not enough people play the game? This is ridiculous. Lots of players share computers. This is quite common in school classrooms. It's also common for siblings to share a family computer. I think you're out of ideas now.
  5. What stops me sending my emailed code to my friend to log into my account?
  6. Yes. I know. How would I know which country "their in" right now, if not for their IP address? A VPN allows you to hide your location online; even companies like Netflix can't tell which country you are in when you use a VPN - I don't know how you expect us to do this. Clash Royale checks for account sharing by looking at IP addresses? I sincerely doubt that. I think you are just speculating. It's much more likely they are tracking the devices by their platform ID (e.g. Google Play ID). If multiple Google Play IDs log into the same account, it might indicate that they are sharing an account.
  7. This sentence is very hard to understand but I'll do my best... I think you're conceding that detection would only work if they regularly log in from different countries from the same IP addresses. So, as long as one (or all) users of an account have a dynamic IP or use a VPN, then they would not be able to be detected? This doesn't help solve the problem. I think you misread what I was saying. I meant all the users of a single account - not all the users of the game. It's not unusual for 2 Indian kids to share a single account, for example. Or maybe it's just one person and they just switched over from using PC to phone? Honestly I think you've exhausted this idea. It doesn't work. Even if it could detect some account sharing, there are clearly many cases where it would report false positives, and as you admit - these checks could be easily circumvented. It doesn't work.
  8. Can you please provide some evidence? Do you have screenshots of the conversation you had with manojkkalex?
  9. Or they're using a VPN. Or they moved country. And how would this stop account sharing if the users are all from the same country?
  10. Please provide screenshots of your entire conversation with ZapDash.
  11. So if a player has logged in from more than one IP address then we should assume they are account-sharing and ban them? This would result in banning 99% of players (including me). So if a hacker logs into the account is just gets instantly banned? Doesn't seem very fair to the person being hacked. I think you misread the original post. starlord2007 was suggesting banning accounts which have more than one IP address. He wasn't suggesting banning multiple accounts from one IP address. It seems to me like he's happy for one person to have as many accounts as they like, so long as noone else logs into them.
  12. Ok I recommend rebooting your phone and try again. Failing that - try another web browser. I have not been able to reproduce the issue on my side. If you can give me steps to reproduce the issue then I will look into it further.
  13. Does it still happen when you reload the page?
  14. How would banning a hacker stop him from doing it again? What's to stop him from creating a new account? The only way to prevent this from happening again is to first understand HOW it happened, so we can fix the root cause of the problem. Usually when this kind of thing happens it's because of a weak/guessable password or because the password was shared with someone else. You claim that neither of these are possible, but you haven't suggested any alternative.
  15. @Babby246 I don't think you can be helped. You still have not explained how it's possible that he took your pokemon. Until we figure this out, there's no point in me trying to help you because it will likely just happen again.
  16. Closing this topic as no reply in almost 2 weeks. If this issue still persists please open a new topic. Thanks.
  17. It's not possible for me to bring these back.
  18. Thanks for the report. I have obtained evidence from a few other sources which give credibility to your report. Venom_10 is now banned.
  19. Can you please provide some evidence of a scam? So far, I can only see that you traded with him. I need more information.
  20. I'm just trying to figure out if it's a problem with your browser, computer or network. If you are willing to try Firefox, it would help us to diagnose the issue.
  21. @krisiyen Please DM me on Discord and we'll talk about it.
  22. This is intentional. When you switch tabs, your browser pauses (or slows down) the game. Browsers use this technique to help save CPU & battery life by only spending system resources on tabs which are open/visible. We cannot turn this feature off. Once you switch back, the game should return to running at normal speed, but, the game is now out of sync with the server. The "blank out" is what happens when the game tries to re-synchronise your browser with the server. This is possible. If you switch tabs AFTER clicking "Battle" but BEFORE the browser takes you to the next page, then you can lose your encounter if you don't switch back to the map tab within 3 seconds. Unfortunately, there are 2 techincal reasons why this cannot be fixed right now: As mentioned above, the way modern browsers work by "pausing" the game in a background tab will interrupt communication with the server, which in turn will lead to a resynchronisation if you don't switch back within approximately 3 seconds, causing the encounter to reset. (Note: If you haven't pressed "battle" yet, then the encounter will be reinstated after re-synchronisation). As an anticheat measure, once you press "Battle", the encounter responsibility is passed from the map system to the wild battle system in a way that cannot be reversed. If your browser fails to navigate to the battle page within a reasonable amount of time, then the encounter will be forever lost. This is to prevent cheaters from finding a pokemon once and repeatedly battling (& catching) the same encounter over and over again. Due to these complexities, it may take some time to fix this bug.
