Good idea! I've been thinking this would be a good addition for a while tbh. Would certainly make fossil collecting more feasible, particularly for OT collectors. As things stand, gen 8 fossils have been out for well over a year now, and not a single person has a full set. There are only 3 Shiny Arctozolts in the whole game, and I believe there was only 1 Mystic Arctozolt until this week.

Love both of these ideas! The second one especially. If banning selfish people isn't a possibility, then extending the timer is the next-best solution.

If you did not write this post with malicious intent, you would have chosen the appropriate section to bring up this content, which is certainly not "report scammers" as this implies that you are accusing someone of cheating and therefore trying to publicly shame them and get them banned. As the rules of this part of the forum dictate, doing this is in itself a bannable offence. Regardless though, you will not get your Pokemon back. So he's not a scammer then, he's just inactive. He had nothing to gain by disappearing and now you've just accused him of being a scammer on a public forum... If you read the "Please read before creating a report" thread, you will see it says this: "When creating a report thread, please make sure to be as informative and thorough as possible. At minimum a report must include the scammer's username, the scam message, and a screenshot as proof. Any user who tries to create a false report in an attempt to get an innocent player banned, will be punished with a ban" Let's hope the rules are enforced here, in order to make this community a better place.

I like this idea. I would add that the top five should get a unique Porygon on top of coins for a unique bird I do however disagree on the prices for the lower ranks. I reckon they should be lower to still ensure a degree of rarity

I don't believe that removing Porygon Hammer, Sword and Shield as seasonal prizes is a good idea, and having spoken to several others about this, I know many people agree. Completing the Pokedex is an integral part of the Pokemon games and it will be virtually impossible to complete the Pokedex by removing these from circulation. They are some of the rarest Pokemon in the game with numbers of each unique provided at the bottom of this post. They are already very difficult to obtain. Almost all of them are in the hands of collectors who will not sell at any cost (or inactive accounts). In the rare event a seller is found, it encourages people who buy Pokemon and in-game currency with real money leaving legitimate players with almost no chance of finishing the sets. Already, there are an average of only 4 of each variant being added to the game in a whole year (and that assumes an even distribution of each, which is highly unlikely). One idea I've heard (not my own) which I thought was a fantastic solution to this problem is to provide a random mystic, metallic, dark, shiny or shadow variant of Porygon Hammer, Sword, or Shield in addition to a random mystic, metallic, dark, shiny or shadow variant of Articuno, Zapdos or Moltres (Galarian). Advantages: -It keeps the Porygons in circulation whilst simultaneously maintaining their rarity (as it will still only be 5 entering the game per month) -It provides a greater reward for people who put their lives on hold for an entire month to put in the hard work required to finish in the top 5 -It placates the individuals who were not keen on the Porygons as they will get a prize they may like as well as a Porygon which they are able to sell on for profit if they wish to do so Disadvantages: -It may upset a few people who have finished in the top 5 previously and only received a Porygon However, as someone who was lucky enough to finish in the top 5 on both occasions I attempted seasonals, I would not be upset by this and all other top-5 finishers who I have spoken to so far feel the same way List of Porygons currently in game: Meta Hammer: 16 Shadow Shield: 15 Meta Sword: 14 Mystic Hammer, Mystic Sword: 13 Shiny Sword, Dark Sword, Mystic Shield: 12 Shadow Sword, Shiny Shield: 10 Dark Shield, Shadow Hammer, Shiny Hammer: 9 Meta Shield: 8 Dark Hammer: 6 (Numbers recorded before all codes from last night were claimed) Please note: Members of the clan Team Rainbow Rocket have been known to mass-downvote my posts because they dislike me rather than the idea. -Necrozma for 1.5k coins to make it more accessible ahead of the event. Necro prices are ridiculous now. Last time I looked the most expensive UB (non-Necro) was 10mil and the cheapest unique Necro was 12mil, going up to 40mil+ for shinies (haven't looked for a while now so these prices may be very outdated but I think prices may have gone up further since then) -10 Meltan candies for 500 coins, or 25 for 1.5k. Of course exact numbers are up for debate but it's going to take several months just for a single unique Melmetal. That of course means not being able to buy other items whilst saving up either -Xmas/Halloween/Star Wars events for 1.5k during a 1-2 week period around the time of each date. One of the biggest problems in this game is the unobtainability of many of these Pokemon (particularly rarer, more popular ones). Most are in the hands of inactive accounts, collectors who have no intention of selling or RWTers looking to sell for silly money (both in game and real) Of course, all of these are up for debate, particularly the numbers I've suggested, but just thought I'd throw some ideas out there

Oh god, are we really starting this nonsense again?? You do realise that the same guy winning the lottery several times: a) Does not have any impact on your chances of winning whatsoever, and b) DOES increase your chance of getting an Unknown due to increased circulation/people winning duplicates and being willing to sell Sometimes I feel as if I'm the only person here with an understanding of how basic market forces/economics work... If you buy more tickets, you have a higher chance of winning. If someone has taken the time to realise that high investment = increased chance of success every week, then good luck to them.

I've been training my Shiny Porygon (Sword) on one of the immunity training accounts - TypeNormal. Obviously shinies that have not taken damage should have 500hp. The majority of the time this is the case, however sometimes it only has 450hp. I've been battling the same account repeatedly and this seems to happen sporadically. Once I reach the next battle it will go back to 500hp for several battles before the occasional 450hp battle again. The odds of winning from a single ticket are 1 in 19,600. If you buy more tickets, of course you have a higher chance of winning. If you spend 1billion on tickets (40,000 tickets) then of course you have a very high chance of winning a bare minimum of one, if not more each week. This is primary school maths. A really simple concept to understand 🙄 If you read the Wiki, you will see that "Theoretically it is possible for every single person who enters to win as well as it being possible for no one to win." Mr Chemicals can win 100 times in a week and this will have no impact whatsoever on your chances of winning. It is not "rigged" and to suggest it is, is quite frankly ridiculous.

If someone sends you a friend request in game, and you're already friends with them, the friend request will appear regardless. If you click 'accept' then a loading screen will appear and nothing else will happen. This will only go away once you refresh the screen, but the request will still be there. Surely if you're already friends with someone, the request should not appear at all?

I think all Pokemon that are no longer available (other than through Pokebay/trade) such as Star Wars/Xmas/Halloween Pokemon and Mewtwo Evolution should be brought back at various points. At the moment, many of these Pokemon either belong to users who don't intend to sell/trade them, or inactive users who have not played in several years. I was thinking Mewtwo Evolution could be brought back in quizzes every September (just as it was the quiz reward last September) Past Star Wars/Xmas/Halloween Pokemon could be brought back around their respective dates each year. Perhaps you could receive a random past Pokemon alongside the new Pokemon when you log in each year. For example, logging in on 31/10/2020 will get you a random variant of the new Halloween Pokemon, and a random variant of Zubat/Golbat/Rotom/Pikachu/Scyther/Togepi Halloween. Another option could be for a week around each respective date, past Pokemon could be included in mystery boxes. For example, the six Pokemon listed above could appear in MBs from 24/10-31/10 each year. A third option could be to create an event allowing you to find past Pokemon around their respective date each year. I feel this idea will keep a good balance between maintaining rarity, and making these Pokemon accessible to newer players and others who are after them.

It's the top 5

I just feel the seasons drag on and it's hard to stay motivated to go through them when the highest incentive is a few master balls. I suggested those prizes as they're very hard to obtain through just the current methods. Adding them as rare sidequest prizes would still mean they're very rare (like orbs or fossils) but at the same time, they become more accessible. For the Porygons you have to grind constantly for a whole month, and may still fall short (I should know, I finished 6th a while back after grinding continuously). Arceus Unknown on the other hand has a 1 in 125,000 chance of being won on the lottery. Perhaps expanding the unique Porygons to players who finish in the top 10 would be another idea.

The sidequests are very long and can be boring in parts. I find the most dull parts are some of the minor regions where the prizes are, at best, master balls. Also the longer regions drag on quite a bit. I reckon it would be better if the longer regions were cut to below 200 battles and perhaps some of the other regions shortened, or even scrapped. I also think the minor region prizes should be changed so there's at least something exciting to aim for. For example, the rare prizes could be random fossils from any region, orbs or even Furfrou forms, premium Pokemon. Perhaps even with the addition of a 1% chance for a "very rare" prize such as an Arceus (Unknown) or one of the seasonal Porygons. Kalos is the best region in my opinion because there's a 66% chance of getting something good (Xerneas Neutral or fossils). Alola, Sinnoh, Kanto and Hoenn also have good prizes (although getting all the way to the end for just 1 beast ball can be disappointing). Johto is let down by the lack of a worthwhile rare prize.
